Montreal Gay Village: No cars allowed

The Ville Marie borough approved the request by the Village Merchants’ Association to close Ste-Catherine street to traffic, between Berri and Papineau - cars will not be allowed from June 17th to September 3rd.

Personally I think is great, and I probably will use my car less this Summer, because I'm not going to spend 30 minutes looking for parking every time I want to go to the Village. Why not add music to the street as well?

Never been to Montreal?
