Bad Romance

This young lady from Manhattan is really grabbing my attention with her lyrics and production of her videos. First I thought it was going to be someone temporary, but the more I pay attention to her music, the more attracted I become to her concept.

Call me crazy, but this girl has talent, she is a great performer, and I like her written ideas. Join music and theater and you have good entertainment, specially when they are coming from Lady Gaga bizarre mind.

Last Weekend of November

and I'm busier than ever and it's all good, actually, everything is more than good. Personally I have not been impressed with what Stereo has called in to celebrate their 10th anniversary (Saturdays), so I just hope this Saturday is going to be the one where they are really going to surprise us.

Both Unity and Parking are getting ready for major visitors in the month of December, which is good because the white thing is coming and we need something to distract us eh?

D-Formation @ Stereo - November 21, 2009

It was not Vibe, instead D-Formation was the one. I'm beginning to believe that Stereo is playing with us and they got the DJs on board. They probably are telling their residents to sometimes let the people believe they are going to be the ones at the temple, and at the end of the day they bring someone else.

I spent around 3 hours at the temple this morning, and will give you the insights later on, but what I can tell you is that D-Formation is probably going to be at Stereo for NYE (to be confirmed).

Hector Fonseca @ Parking

I have the feeling this is going to be a busy night at Parking, and you never know, I might actually be there - haven't really gone out in a while, but maybe is time to get my dancing shoes dirty again.

Friday Night

My apologies guys, but I've been very busy with my other life and this is why I haven't been able to post all the stuff I want to. Life should go back kind of normal by Sunday, then back to not so normal the following Saturday.

Here is something for all the travelers out there, and by the way I just find ridiculous the little plastic bag where we have to fit all our toiletry nor days - I lost my lube last time.

Berlin Wall - 20 Years Later

I was seating here in my desk and I was going to start writing about how the world has changed since the fall of the Berlin wall, but then I realized everyone is going to be doing the same thing.

Talking to someone in the west coast, I asked his opinion about the Berlin wall and he basically told me how fascinating the fact the communists were able to build something so terrible, and once it had run its course, the capitalists were able to sell the entire wall to the whole world.

Once the symbol of evil transformed into the poster child of freedom for the entire world to see. Did you know we have a piece of the wall in Montreal? Check the World Trade Center in the old Montreal area.

Stereo - 10th Anniversary Month

November 2009 is the month to celebrate the 10 incredible years of this amazing club, and Stereo is opening her doors during 3 Fridays as well (Nov 13-20-27). "La vie en Stereo 10 years and counting" is the official theme for the month, and only if the real Vie en Stereo was brought back one more time (David Morales).

Nevertheless expect great parties and I'm sure the (((Temple))) will be calling her big guns in order to celebrate with style, and I'm tempted to go this Saturday.

DJ Ale Bittencourt - E-Joy the Ride

Do you remember DJ Ale Bittencourt? He was spinning at Unity during Pride 2008, and he was kind enough to send me one of his sets, and I decided to share it with you.

According to Ale, "E-JOY THE RIDE" was a warm-up set for the party E-JOY at Pacha - Florianopolis (Brazil) last weekend. I would highly recommend you to add it to your music library.

Ale, thanks for the set, and I hope to see you soon either here in Montreal or in Brazil.

Los Angeles - October 2009

Back from Los Angeles and happier than ever, and maybe I should start writing my story about those escapades to LA eh? or maybe not, I'll think about it, and if you start seeing some postings called "The Baltic Sea", this means I decided to tell you what is going on.

First time in LA for Halloween and I had no idea that was such a big think in that city, we are talking around 400,000 people in WEHO (city of West Hollywood), and you can only imagine the crazy costumes you get to see around. Unfortunately my camera (Sony DSC-T1) is amazing for day time pictures, but when night comes it is like having no camera at all. I did take some pictures but they are not worth posting, but here are other pictures that I think might make you wish you lived in California.
