Made it back to Sao Paulo after visiting the cities of Belo Horizonte, Ouro Preto, Porto Alegre, Caxias do Sul and Manaus. I must say Manaus has many architectural wonders too bad they are mostly hidden behind the giant market in the downtown area. I will try to post some pictures, but check them out in Facebook instead, don't know if I will have the chance to post them here until my return to Montreal.
I'll leave you with my landing in Porto Alegre

Derrick May - bring him to Montreal
I almost drove to New York City on February 18 so I could see the Innovation working his stuff at District 36. One promise I made to myself is next time Derrick is playing on a 6 hours radius from Montreal, I will drive there to see him.
Please Circus or Stereo, bring this guy to our city pronto, fine at this point I'm even asking the Bal en Blanc and the Black & Blue people the same thing..

Blog Stats
American readers have taken over the Canadians as the top visitors to this blog. Germany is still the number 3 source of readers, and I noticed Australia decided to not come here anymore. Good to see Argentina, Brazil and Mexico in the top 10 list, and France, Italy, UK and Netherlands as well.

Stereo - Abel Ramos
I can see how confusing it is for some people, the flyers claims the party to be on March 12, but Stereo only opens at 1:00am, which would make it Sunday. Have you noticed how in the events posted in Facebook, the event is already in "Happening Now" status the day before it actually happens?
Should Stereo start changing how they advertise their events? Would it better to say Sunday @ 1:00am instead of Saturday @ 1:00am?

Apaçi Dansi
Another video that has gone viral, posted not long ago and it is out of control, and my understanding is that this Turkish subculture type of dance has hit the dance floors in Germany and Turkey?
If you do a search in YouTube for Apaci Dansi you will find tons and tons of posting, and I just have to say, good for grampa for enjoying his life.

Patius - the logo
Yes, slowly we are trying to change a couple of things over here, for starters a logo has been added and because it was so difficult to pick the right colour, it was decided circles in different colours were going to do the job. The circle representing the dance floor and the several colours showcasing the diversity of the dancers. Yeah, I just made that up, in other words, it could mean anything you want.

In other news, soon I shall be travelling to Brazil, and I hope to be able to post some pictures from Belo Horizonte, Ouro Preto, Porto Alegre, Manaus and São Paulo. I'll be very busy but I'll try to do my best and keeping you posted.
