Vietnam, Cambodia and maybe Macau/Hong Kong?

Okay boys and girls, since many of you know, I changed jobs back in September last year, and I haven't taken any vacation since. Obviously the time has come when I have to start planning my next vacation right?  I know, you must be wondering about all those pictures posted in the last couple of months, those are from my little time off during my business trips people.

Anyway, I have my eyes set in Vietnam, and I have no idea why, but this country has always fascinated me and it is either now or never. The country is big and there are so many places to visit, with so little time - yes, I probably going to have only 2 weeks or so. The idea is to perhaps stop by in Hong Kong/Macau on my way in (3 days max), and then continue to Vietnam. Someone was telling if I'm going to be in Vietnam, I must make a room for a stop over in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Guys, if you have tips to give me please now is the time, because I shall be booking my trip in the next couple of weeks, it is probably going to happen in October/November.

I guess I have no choice but to go and check this place out. It looks like an interesting location so I must review it right?

Salvador, Bahia - May 2013

Guys I also had the opportunity to travel to Salvador (Bahia) while in Brazil. One of the oldest cities in the Americas, and the 7th largest (metropolitan area) in Brazil. I'm definitely going back to Salvador in the future, I want to explore this city as a tourist. Once again I was busy with meetings, and only had 2 hours to walk around the Cidade Alta and Cidade Baixa. It was like an explosion of colours tainted with interesting history all over. You just have to walk around and appreciate the beauty of the place, I just imagine this city during carnaval, it must be crazy. Anyway, here are some of the pictures of the city.

Fortaleza - May 2013

After Rio de Janeiro I had to fly to Fortaleza, the 5th largest city of Brazil. I wish I could write my usual tips on what to do and where to go, but as I stated previously I was in the city for work and did not get the chance to go around.  Nevertheless it is a place I want to go back for vacation, so here are some of the pictures I took while arriving and in the city.

Piknic Electronik 2013

yes boys and girls, the famous Piknic Electronik of Montreal is back and it begins officially today. The weather in Montreal is kind of cloudy but who cares, we know the place is going to get busy. it is a long weekend in Montreal after all, what are you doing today?

Eurovision 2013

Congratulations Denmark for winning the song contest, and good run by Azerbaijan (2nd place) as well.  Road trip to Copenhagen next year?  Many good things have happened to me in this beautiful city.





I must say I also loved the song from Ireland and I cannot believe it placed last out of all 39 entries, bonus points for the cute dancers with Ryan Dolan.

Rio de Janeiro - May 2013

so work has sent me to Rio de Janeiro again, and yes there is a lot of work but here are some pictures I took while walking around this weekend.  I was planning to hit The Week International Rio but the place is close while they build a new location.  Bummer, but then again you don't really come to Rio to experience the night life, it is more about the day life we are here for right?
