Black Party NYC 2008

haven't heard from my friends yet, but I'm assuming they are either sleeping or getting ready to hit the Alegria party. Until then here is a clip from last night's Black Party in New York City.

edit: ...and they are alive... it sounds like Stéphan Grondin won a couple of hundred new fans in NYC. Perhaps would had been better if Grondin had been scheduled to close the party instead of warming up the crowd? Good job Grondin!!!

stephan grondin was very good. he opened the party really well. i arrived around 1:00, it was already quite packed.

the congratulations however go to jonathan peters, who was EX-CEP-TION-NAL. i mean, i have rarely or even never heard such a pure seamless thin refined music, with not a single pause or false key. it was a delice for the ears. i am still under shock. conclusion: i didnt even make it to the darkroom, i was stuck on the dancefloor... well, with a view on more than 10,000 testosteroned leather bulls, i couldnt complain...;-)))

and yes, I just got word of the second part of the night, It sounds like Peter indeed delivered ... even if he had to play for the entire day in Miami.

Jonathan Peter had great moments even though i Thought he was tame and played too happy music for a long time. Might as well go to Splash and listen to the same music. Love to see the Canadian DJS next year at the prime time.
